A day with dadadada...

Matt, in all of his glory, is really a wonderful father. I was trying to get a few things done around the house today and without even having to ask, He took Henry with him to the hardware store. It really was a sweet jesture. I had to capture them before their depature. They were also taking back the movie Wall-E we rented. SO CUTE!!!
However, after returning home, Henry managed to have a MAJOR blowout in his diaper, was rushed to the bathroom for an inpromptu bath, and also laid down for a nap is his pack and play. We are trying to get him adjusted to sleeping in it, and I have been avoiding it since our disasterous start over Christmas. Matt did manage to get him calmed down, so I will keep you posted to his progress. We are going to have him take all of his naps in it from now until our departure to see Aunt Steph, Uncle Artie, and baby cousin Gage.
Henry is also having some diffculty teething at the moment. His butt is raw from all the pooping, and he's been not quit his cheery Henry self. He also had his first nervous breakdown in public last night. We were eating with Matt's parents and he erruped. Oh the joys of parenthood!!!

Now that he can roll...

Now that Henry can roll over, he thinks that sleeping on his tummy is funny. This morning Matt and I found him sleeping on his tummy at the edge of his crib with his feed hanging perfect out of the crib one leg through each slot. Explain to me how that happens. He's been such a good boy the last couple of days. He's growing so much, I can't wait to see how long his is and how tall. His 9mo appointment is on March 20th. I will keep you all posted. I am trying to decide if we are going to get his 9mo pictures taken. We kind of went overboard on his 3mo pictures which turned out amazing, but I'm not a good enough photographer to do them myself and we don't have the money. You can also see his top toofers in this picture. He has 5 in total.

Happy Valentine's Day

Grandma Kim got Henry the cutest Valentine's shirt. It had a picture of a bee on it with the word mine, Be Mine! We couldn't resist capturing that on camera. Henry has OFFICIALLY ROLLED OVER for the first time on Friday. I have a video but am having problems getting it loaded. Stay posted. I have some pictures of him shortly after accomplishing the infamous task. I was feeling like a bad mom because my kid wasn't rolling over but now I feel a little better. Matt and Henry are both still sick....ucky! It's so hard to hear them all stuffed up trying to breath. And it's hard to sleep with one of them when they aren't breathing well through their nose, needless to say, mama hasn't been sleeping well the last few nights.
Henry has also accummulated some additional toys in his arsenal. My friend, Kathy, got this amazing toy for her son, Maverick, and I knew that Henry would love it. There are sounds, lights, and a microphone to bang with. He's in heaven. I also decided that I was sick of staring at his toys all over the house, so I purchased a toy box for him. He really likes hanging out with his Dr. Seuss and Curious animals on his new toy box.

DADADADADADA...

Matt shot a funny video of Henry last night. Henry is doing so well sitting by himself and loves to say "DADADADADADADA..." at the top of his lungs, but when we turn the video on him, he'll clam up like a fish and just stare at us. We finally caught him hollaring out a good one last night, however, he did manage to tip over in the process.

Henry is going to be 8 months next week!!! I can't hardly believe it. We are still waiting for that magically moment when he rolls over completely on his own. We are soooo close, but not quit there yet. He's eating stage 2 Gerber foods, Gerber puffs, cheerios, saltine crackers, and loves drinking out of his sippy cup. He's also getting his hair back!!! He has 5 teeth fully in now, and is going to be working on a few more here soon. I am LOVIN' my time at home with him. We definitely have a very special bond, and I couldn't be more excited, proud, happy, and overall content.
