The show must go on..

We take a bath even without dada's....
Look cute in our wagon just a waitin' for dada's...

Shh..don't tell dada's...we even watered the flowers...

But most of all we just whined alot..waitin for dada's...

Even without Dada's home....We must say that life isn't quit perfect without our dada's around. The dogs anxiously await his return and peek at the door whenever they hear a noise. Henry stands around lookin' out the window waiting for that big shiny red truck to make its appearance. Oh to be a dada with all of it's superhero qualities. I guess us mama's will have to settle for laundry doin' and boo boo wiper.....

I must say, however, that my little man can now official give kisses. He opens up that big ol' slobbery mouth of his and plants a big one on his mama's cheek. My heart literally lept out of my chest and just like the grinch grew two sizes that day! He also thinks he quite the jokster when he pushes himself up and then pushes away from the couch and STANDS yes, stands on his own!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Oh Nebraska...

An incredible view from the porch of the cabin we staying at before the wedding...
Awww..love the lil' quirky smile...gosh, I love this kid...

So this weekend I had the fortunate opportunity to be a bridesmaid in my friend Michaela's wedding. She's a Nebraska girl and proud of it. I'm still gonna hold true to my roots, can I get a shout out to my South Dakota girls?!!! Whoo whoo...It was an amazing wedding with a stunning bride to boot. Lots of fun and drinks to be had by all.

I had to be away from my Henry Friday night, but had a good time letting loose with new friends and old before the wedding. Then it was off for Matt's birthday celebration in Sioux Falls today. He's.....29...!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I suppose we'll have to plan something amazing for next year when he hits the big 3-0...

Believe...

So serious swinging at grandma's house...

Bailey and Henry chatting about their weekend...

I just love his goober smile...it melts my heart everytime...

Believe, it's a powerful word that holds significant meaning to everyone. In my life, believe represents the support to get through moments like tonight where Henry is laying on the floor crying for no good reason after crawling like mad to the same spot he was told to leave alone two seconds previously. I have to believe that things will get better and that I will learn to deal with the tantrums with calmness and grace. Believe that your spouse means well while telling you what to do when he/she is sitting on their bums not helping:)!

Henry had some special time with grandma this weekend while the boys were in the hills four wheeling. He just LOVE LOVE LOVES his puppy Bailey to pieces. He also enjoy swinging at grandma's house. Henry is now 13 months old. 13 months...my little man...the baby that I used to hold in my belly wondering what he/she would look like, sound like, act like...man how quickly those dreams turn into reality sometimes it feels like a nighmare:)!!! HAHAHA...

Cling clang bing bang

The stuff in the cupboards aren't good enough he's gotten get IN the cupboard
What a handsome hat you have Henry...

Oh the joys of toddlers...

Can I say that I think he looks like me in this pic?

It's off to the races for Mr. H. He makes his rounds every evening from the hallway upstairs over the kitchen cupboards. He's gotta check out what's goin on. He's always at his mama's feet or chasin' ditda's into his office. He's our lil' speed racer. If I wasn't mistaken, he's also started to take on a bit of his mother's charm and good looks...hahahaha...

We are also OFFICIALLY done with our garage sale. Man, I don't think I'll be hosting one of those again soon. It was so humid in our garage that I sweated like a freakin' pig the whole weekend. It was definitely busy with traffic all the time both days. I am also not taking anything back into the house but bringing it to a consignment shop in Vermillion in hopes of getting a little more loot. We shall see...

Henry is also suffering from what I refer to as the blah's. He's getting those first molars and just not himself lately. Stroller rides seem to calm him down as well as being with his puppies or riding on the mower with grandpa. Otherwise he's pretty tempermental and wants things his way RIGHT NOW...thank goodness Matt is home more now. We have gotten really good at running interference for each other when ones gets tired the other steps in.

Not mama's lil baby anymore...

Henry mowing with dada...He is in LOVE with riding on the mower thanks to grandpa Ken
I can't get over this stinker grin...he's a crawlin fool...

This is his new walkin' toy. He loves to run from each side of the house...

Henry is just growing into the funniest lil' man! He loves to laugh at himself or laugh with someone when they make a joke. He'll have whole conversations with you that go a little something like this, "whoosh whoosh...WHAAAA....tuft, zoowa zooowa...WHAAAA...vroommmm...vroommmmm" He'll interject a nod when you ask him a question then respond to your question. He's also got a whole lotta sass. He wants to put everything in his mouth, hit everything, or grab it and when he can't, boy he'll let you know about it. His bestfriends are the dogs. He knows Bailey's name and calls him "bai" and wants to see him first thing in the morning. His new name for Matt is dit da, he LOVES him some dit da. He's not mama's lil baby anymore....

GARAGE SALE!!!!!

Sooo, yes I am officially crazy/insane. I am hosting my first garage sale ever....this very weekend July 10 from 5-7 and July 11 9am-12 noon!!!!! My sister in law started the craze with nicely saying I have WAY too much crap and need to go through it. I have been doing so with quick the fevor lately and have come up with enough items along with my friend Jordan to host what is slated to be quit the Vermillion event. As I type there are a million firecrackers going off outside my window, maybe I can use them at my garage sale to attract customers..hum...interesting...or toss all of my crap that no one bought into their yard and say thanks for waking my kid up assh@*#!!!!! Anywho, what was I saying, oh yes, the garage sale. Please feel free to stop by if any of you are in town to donate items or just to laugh at all the crap that I, yes, actually paid money for.

And the real fun begins...

Henry decided that while mama and dada were on vacation that he would finally master the art of crawling. And so he has with a fury to cause disaster like none that I have ever seen before. He's into EVERYTHING!!!! From the crumb on the floor to the cords coming out of our entertainment center. I kind of feel like I should should take all of my belongings and store them away for the next 4 years. I suppose I could get used to living in a sparsly populated area for a period of time if it meant keeping my sanity.

The beautiful Black Hills

The view from Cement Ridge Lookout you can see three states from here..
Crazy Horse Monument both the model and the real thing...

Matt and I at Pactola Resevoir. We rode the bike on Tuesday.

One of the trails we ATV'd down. SOOO beautiful...

Ok for once this post will contain no pictures of the lil' man. Although I must announce that he is officially CRAWLING...I hope to capture some moments here today and get them uploaded. Three days at grandma and grandpa's and he's moving around like he's been crawling his whole life. Go figure, right?

Matt and I headed to the hills over the weekend and got back on Wednesday. We had such a nice time and saw some beautiful countryside. We stayed at Spearfish Canyon Lodge and got to ride the ATV trails from our door. It was a great time for Matt and I to reconnect as a couple, and we both enjoyed being able to sleep in and not having to rush home to feed the dogs or take care of Henry. It was great to getaway but hard to come back to real life:)! Henry sure gave it to us with a little temper tantrum when we got home!!!
