Oh the wild hairs I get up my bum sometimes. I am so like my mother in too many ways, it scares even me sometimes! While reading through some blogs, I found a recipe for "healthy" oatmeal cookies. I thought, "hey, what the heck, I'll try it". I'm joining the gym on Wednesday and besides I need to get my whole family on a health kick after our weekend of Burger King and peanut butter creme oreos.
So Henry and I set off while dada was on the road and pulled all of the ingredients including whole wheat flour, flax seed, and applesauce.....humm.....mixed it all up while Henry impatiently pulled, tugged, and whined his way around and through my legs. Well, it looks a little dark, but we'll give er' a try....bake and whaaa laaa....HUMMM....might need some more chocolate chips that should do the trick...try 'um again....not so bad!!!! Just call me MRS Betty Crocker, I'll be here all week:)!!!
On a SUPER funny note...you've got to hear this one...I mean I have never laughed so freakin' hard....Henry was sitting in the tub tonight when all of a sudden he became very quiet....his lil' butt cheeks got real tight and he squeezed his legs together. Then out of nowhere...this gigantic FART errupted from his lil' nether regions....but that's not even the funniest part. I look at him and he starts this giggle from deep down inside his tummy that erupts into crazy laughter and giggles...I know this sounds weird, but I have never loved my son so much then at that moment. Those of you that know me will know why.
