The Schulte's: Henry turning 2!!!!

So my baby bubba boy had his second BIRTHday today! Isn't it amazing how much little ones learn and adapt to their environment? To think this time last year, Henry couldn't even crawl yet, and now I can't get him to stop running everywhere and climbing up too tall ladders and slidding down slides. He's even obsessed with riding his new Strider bike and motorcycle.

He amazes me each and everyday! I have learned so much about life and myself just from being Henry's mom. There is no greater accomplishment besides a marriage than having a child in ones' life. Creating and nurturing a life is God's greatest gift. And what a gift my Henry is to me and everyone he encounters.

Tonight we ran into old friends and had ice cream with some neighbors. Henry got to eat his favorite meal, chicken nuggies and fries. He was in his prime flirting with his friend Kate and anyone else that would give him their eye. Henry's old babysitter, Han, was at ice cream and couldn't believe how big her Henry has gotten. Everyone that is or has been a part of Henry's life can only smile and say good things about him. Is there anything else I could ask for?

So to you Henry, I say this: My love for you in unconditional! I know there will come a time where I won't be very much fun to hang out with and you and I will fight about decisions you think you are ready to make, but for this snapshot in our lives, I cherish our special relationship our little language we have with one another. When we swing together and look over at me, the world stands still and there is only you and I in it...
