Over the weekend, cousin Sara from Iowa visited us! She had heard stories of some really old cool pictures that grandma Artis (Linda's mom) had lying around her house, and she wanted to catch a glimpse of these cool portraits. Since, grandma lives in Brookings, I decided that it would be neat to incorporate a trip to the Children's Museum of South Dakota. The trip did not disappoint. This place is so cool. They have different stations set up for auto body, water science, post office, grocery stores and so many more. It is a great tactile environment for little ones.
Henry had a blast and we even took uncle Jay along for the ride. It's so great to watch Henry, daddy, and uncle Jay. I still can't decide who had more fun:)! Sara and I decided about 1/2 way through that sitting in the open eating area having juice and tea was more our speed, so we let the boys finish up the tour solo.
Here is Henry fixing the car in the auto body shop. He was in heaven.

The boys pumping the air pump so it would shoot a ball up the tube. Because the area had so much water, each kid got a plastic apron to wear.

I don't know why I laugh every time I see this picture, but there is a nursing mama pig in the background with piglets velcro'd to her. Henry was bound and determined to get each one and bring it to the corner.
