Could it be?

Could summer actually almost be upon us? Could it be that we can now just run outside to play instead of putting 16.5 layers of clothes on. Minus the sunscreen and bug spray showdown, summer is the absolute best time of year if you have little ones. What better way for them to get out of the house away from television and the boredom of the same toys then to discover all new things in the wilderness (or backyard).

Henry LOVES begin outside, as most kids do. The last few days have been absolutely beautiful in Vermillion. We have been outside all afternoon every afternoon playing in the sandbox, sliding down the swing set slide, and enjoying our water toys. It's like Christmas all over again discovering toys long since put away and forgotten.

I also recently booked our hotel room for our first family vacation! We are going to Omaha to swim in our hotel pool and visit the Omaha Zoo. Nothing horribly exciting but for someone who has never been on a vacation, Henry won't know the difference. I am excited to do these things with him before baby comes. I always want Henry to know how special he is to us. Our first child!

After we played hard, we came in and after bath and jammies raced our tractors around...
We used our fire hose to fill up our pool! Henry was in charge of course...
