Humidity

GROSS!!!!! The weather here has been awful! Last Saturday, I almost died from not being able to breath! I am definitely more a Fall/Winter person than a summer person. Sweatshirts, jeans, and snow sound really good right now! As do roasts and steaks! Nummy....

Henry, dad, and I have been hitting the pool almost daily to beat the heat. I must say the pool is almost getting too warm with temps in the 100's and heat indexes reaching 111!!! YIKES...

We have been watching movies and going to the library for new books. His current favorite is Papa, will you get the moon for me by Eric Carle.
Henry and dad are squirt gun addicts! They have quit the assortment and love squirting each other, the fence, and Bailey and Lucy. Henry has the best dad in the world! We love you:)!!
P.S. All pictures have been taken with my phone. I have been lazy about getting out my big camera. With the humidity as high as it is, my lens continues to fog up every time I try to actually take a real picture.

Schulte Family update

Yes, once again, you finding me apologizing for not blogging as frequently as I should. Life is just too darn busy right now to find any extra time to talk about life being busy, if that makes any sense. Again still suffering from pregnant brain, therefore, some of my thoughts aren't complete:)

Us Schulte's are having the time of our lives this summer. Highlights: made it to the pool 5 days in a row, Henry LOVES the big slide in town him and dad went down it three times in a row last week, went to the Sioux Falls zoo with grandma and aunt Teresa, rode 4 wheeler's with all of papa's brothers, uncle Jay, and aunt Teresa, and went to a fun new pool in Sioux Falls with all kinds of new and interesting water/sand toy combos. We got to see grandma Kim a whole bunch so far, which is always awesome as she is the grandma with "alot of tractors" according to Henry.

Henry lightlights: after turning 3, Henry is working diligently on potty training including taking himself to poop tonight! He moved into the preschool room at his school. He loves his new friends and is still learning how to listen and be a big preschooler as he calls it. Everyday he still tells me, "mom look at all my new friends!" He is enjoying having the afternoons with mom and playing outside with Bailey and Lucy. His favorite movies right now are Ice Age: Dawn of the Dinosaurs and we even went to the new Cars movie which he sat through the WHOLE THING!

We are loving our time together before baby girl Schulte comes raining on Henry's parade!
