Keegan Round 2

So we hit up round number 2 with Mr. Keegan last week here in Vermillion. I have several awesome pictures, but decided to only show mom 2. Keeps the excitement building! HEHEHE...I promise to post pictures of my little man sometime in the near future. He isn't a big fan of the camera lately, and I haven't felt much like taking pictures that I'm not paid to take lately!

Morgan's Senior Pictures

So I have had the fortunate opportunity to work with some wonderful ladies in my work career. I was able to photograph Tena's senior Keegan a couple weeks back, and last night I got to work with Becky's senior Morgan.

To Morgan, you are so beautiful, vibrant, full of energy, and a very sweet young lady! I wish you continued success this year and in your future. I hope you enjoy these few pictures I have for you as a sneak peek. I've got SO many more to edit! Thank you for giving me the opportunity to capture these priceless images for you!

The boys...

There is NOTHING better in the world to me than spending time with my family including our two hounds Bailey and Lucy. Henry loves to chase them around and tell them what to do like a true big brother. It puts a smile on my face to watch my two boys explore the trails of Spirit Mound with their dogs. I am very curious to see how baby girl Schulte will fit into this male driven life I lead. I am looking forward some "girl" time in the future. However, I hope she enjoys all the things her older brother does. It will be so amazing to watch them together interacting, playing, and learning from each other.

Matt and I are heading out for a little vacation without Henry before baby girl Schulte arrives. I am looking forward to that time with my hubby as being parents predominantly defines who we are at home. With a 3 year old always testing bounds, rarely do we get to let our guard down.

Both of our jobs can be very stressful at times, and I hope we can take this small amount of time to just enjoy being together despite my gigantic stomach as a reminder of a new future to come! It's definitely been more difficult to find time for us to just be a couple. I hope we can find that balance sooner rather than later.

Attention span of a 3 year old

So I have noticed, just like the weather in South Dakota, if you wait long enough your toddlers attention span will shift to something else. Whether it to be the grave injustice you just bestowed upon him or the random piece of dirt on the floor that he must put in his mouth. Henry is the poster child for toddler ADHD! He is everywhere all the time 100 miles an hour in a split second shifting attention to something else. If that didn't make sense, welcome to my world!

I love my little boy though. I am adjusting to the mood swings and the "shoosh be quiet mom" moments when I have no idea what caused the devil to come out in my little baby. He is so funny, smart, and witty! When my mom was home this weekend, he rushed to me asking, "Mom, where is that little old grandma? Where did she go?" Keep in mind my mom is still in her 40's. I couldn't stop laughing. Tears where rolling down my check when my mom came out.

I also LOVE my Henry and Me time. We were together on Sunday and went shopping together. Yes, I said Henry and shopping in the same sentence. It's amazing what a full belly of food and M&M's can get a kid to do. He was angelic until he ran into the bathroom door and knocked his head. He's quit accident prone!!!

"Airplane? Where"
"Oh it's going far far away!"
3 seconds later, "Mom look at this bug on my arm"
.3 seconds later, "MOM, what doing?"
