Attention span of a 3 year old

So I have noticed, just like the weather in South Dakota, if you wait long enough your toddlers attention span will shift to something else. Whether it to be the grave injustice you just bestowed upon him or the random piece of dirt on the floor that he must put in his mouth. Henry is the poster child for toddler ADHD! He is everywhere all the time 100 miles an hour in a split second shifting attention to something else. If that didn't make sense, welcome to my world!

I love my little boy though. I am adjusting to the mood swings and the "shoosh be quiet mom" moments when I have no idea what caused the devil to come out in my little baby. He is so funny, smart, and witty! When my mom was home this weekend, he rushed to me asking, "Mom, where is that little old grandma? Where did she go?" Keep in mind my mom is still in her 40's. I couldn't stop laughing. Tears where rolling down my check when my mom came out.

I also LOVE my Henry and Me time. We were together on Sunday and went shopping together. Yes, I said Henry and shopping in the same sentence. It's amazing what a full belly of food and M&M's can get a kid to do. He was angelic until he ran into the bathroom door and knocked his head. He's quit accident prone!!!

"Airplane? Where"
"Oh it's going far far away!"
3 seconds later, "Mom look at this bug on my arm"
.3 seconds later, "MOM, what doing?"
